About 800 area middle school and high school students gathered to worship and share their Christian faith for the first "Fields of Faith" event in Panama City Wednesday. The nationwide student-to-student event sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes began in 2004 with 6,000 people on 23 athletic fields in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas and has grown to more than 100,000 people on 382 fields in 35 states.
